Currently the yearly conference European Geographical Union (EGU) is taking place in Vienna, bringing together thousands of scientists and practitioners from diverse disciplines. Yesterday our colleague Fredrik Huthoff was invited to present some of our recent work on ‘Rapid global hazard forecasting to support early action in data poor regions’ at a press conference dedicated to early warnings for extreme events.
